The FX30, a part of Sony’s Cinema Line, boasts an advanced imaging system that matches its counterparts, delivering detailed 10-bit UHD 4K visuals at a maximum of 120 fps. This makes it a genuine cinema camera in terms of specifications. The camera’s newly-engineered 26MP APS-C Exmor R CMOS sensor and BIONZ XR processor work together to produce high-quality 4K images using the Super 35mm (16:9) area. Capture over 14 stops of dynamic range and boost performance in low-light conditions.
The FX30 offers high-sensitivity recording with a maximum ISO of 32000 and a Dual Base ISO of 800/2500. Capture over 14 stops of dynamic range when S-Log3 is used. The device supports 10-bit 4:2:2 recording in the advanced XAVC HS XAVC S-I formats. The 6K sensor provides full pixel high-quality UHD 4K video recording at up to 60 fps. It also shoots 4K at up to 120 fps with a 1.6x crop, and in Full HD at up to 240 fps. HDMI output can deliver 16-bit raw video to recorders separately.
